LevelSense – LPG Level Measurement Solution
LevelSense expands the functionality of the previous system, is more reliable than its predecessor, and enables continuous monitoring of tank fill levels and device status.
LevelSense is an online measurement system in which the tank fill level is updated at intervals of a few minutes.
The system monitors device status and generates alarms if the transmitter installed on the tank stops transmitting data or if the IoT controller does not send data to the server for a defined period.
Data connection to the server is established via the service station’s local network. If a LAN connection is not available, we offer an LTE version of the IoT controller.
Operating Principle
LevelSense combines tank-mounted level sensors, an IoT controller, and a cloud-based monitoring application into one integrated solution.

LevelSense components:
- LevelSense Node (Kadatec KXT01) – radio transmitter sensors installed on tanks for measuring LPG level
- LevelSense Hub – collects measurement data from sensors and forwards it to the server
- Antennas
- Power adapter – power supply for the LevelSense Hub
- LevelSense Cloud – server application
LevelSense Node (Kadatec KTX01) transmitter periodically broadcasts its serial number together with tank fill percentage, battery voltage, and temperature. The process repeats at intervals of a few minutes.
LevelSense Hub collects data from LevelSense Node level sensors and forwards it to the server application. In case of communication interruptions, measurement data is stored locally and transmission automatically resumes once the connection is restored.
LevelSense Cloud processes incoming data, stores measurement history, and monitors device and communication performance. If a sensor goes offline or its battery is depleted, the server generates an alarm. If no data is received from the LevelSense Hub within a defined period, the server generates an alarm.
Installation Conditions
The LevelSense Node sensor is mounted with two screws to the horizontal connection flange of the Junior type.

The sensor is ATEX certified and designed to operate in Ex zones 1 and 2. The power source is a 3.6 V 1100 mAh SAFT LS14250 battery with a service life of 5 years. The radio transmitter frequency is 433 MHz.
The LevelSense Hub is designed for installation on a DIN rail.
The device dimensions are approximately 120 × 80 × 30 mm. Adequate installation space must be reserved in the electrical cabinet. Power and data connections must be available at the installation location (230 VAC power socket or circuit breaker, Ethernet RJ45 network connection).
