Teltonika FMB640
Positioning device with several functions, intended mainly for use in trucks.
The most popular option is downloading of data from digital tachograph. The user needs only to set the period, and afterwards the further downloading process will take place automatically. Each download is registered in the unit.
It is also often used in cases, when a customer does not want to drill holes in tanks and prefers a cheap fuel monitoring based on CAN data.
By connecting the unit with Garmin, it can be used for bilateral communication between the office and the driver.
In addition to the described possibilities, more options can be used, which enable to identify drivers, register working times of drivers, monitor temperature of the environment, measure fuel level with level sensors, use microphone for listening to cab sounds, monitor operation of on-board systems or various electrical units. Based on the request of the client, various options can be combined.
